Dr. Hana Kovarova, head of the Laboratory of Applied proteomics analysis at the Institute of Physiology and Genetics of Animals, at  the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and Dr. Suresh Jivan Gadher, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Life Science Solutions, Frederick, MD, USA at the invitation of the Research Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology "Georgi D. Efremov", MASA, held a lectures on "Challenges and Advances in Science and Medicine". Dr. Hana Kovarova talked of cell therapies for neurologial diseases with special emphasis on surface and secretory proteins. Dr. Suresh Jivan Gadher talked about the search for specific biomarkers in biological fluids in different diseases. The lectures were held on 19 May 2015 in the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
